At Berendsen Fluid Power, we recognise the importance of gender equity in the workplace and are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for all our employees. Our Gender Pay Gap for the financial year 2023-2024 was reported at 37.8%. While this figure highlights the challenges we face overall at a sector level as an industrial business, we are determined to drive meaningful change.
Since this reporting period, we have undertaken a number of significant gender equity initiatives aimed at addressing and closing the gender pay gap within our organisation. These initiatives include:
- Introducing a New Gender Equity Strategy: We have developed and implemented a comprehensive Gender Equity Strategy that outlines our commitment to equality and sets clear goals for reducing the gender pay gap across our business.
- Establishing the Women’s Lead Network: We have launched the Women’s Lead Network, a platform designed to support and empower female employees by providing opportunities for networking, mentorship, and personal development.
- Conducting Remuneration Reviews: We have conducted thorough remuneration reviews to examine and address current gender pay gaps. These reviews ensure that our pay structures are fair and equitable, and that any disparities are promptly identified and resolved.
- Board Reporting on Gender: We have embedded monthly board level reporting to provide transparency.
We believe that these initiatives will pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable workplace at Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd. We remain committed to ongoing efforts in promoting gender equity and will continue to monitor our progress, adjusting our strategies as necessary to ensure sustained improvement.
We look forward to future reports where we are able to demonstrate continued progress towards our goal of reducing the Gender Pay Gap.
